I highly, highly recommend anyone who has been following the story of my friend Michelle who was supposed to come off Mount Rainier a week ago, but has not been heard from, or who is really facing any type of uncertainty or hard times that are causing them to question the existence or goodness of God to listen to the sermon my pastor preached today. It was absolutely beautiful and profound. I am so blessed to be at this wonderful church and to have really been embraced by this community.
I wasn't sure how to entitle this post, because he didn't really speak about Comfort, Hope or Peace, but he spoke the Truth and that brought all of those things to so many of us.
The weather forecast has changed and and so they expect good weather for the first time all week and anticipate getting the helicopter off the ground and part of the search. The park rangers are still optimistic. They hope to be out there between 1:00pm and 8:00pm eastern time.
