Michelle's mother just posted this on her Facebook wall. They finally sent out a search team to look for the two groups (four people), but did not find anyone. They hope ot start again this morning in what will hopefully be a break in the weather because another big storm is supposed to move in this afternoon.
1/20/12 Part 1: Dear friends of Michelle, Don't stop praying! Don't stop believing! Don't become disheartened! Our Lord - Michelle's Lord, is just as much in control today as he was from the time she took her first step up Mt. Rainier. As we spent the day traveling across the country yesterday to be here in Seattle, our trip did not go as we had planned. We encountered much love along the w...ay, and we also were able to overcome some big obstacles. Yet, we arrived safely. Without luggage, but safely. As I read on the plane, and again as we sat in an airport that was not on our itenerary, I was again touched by a devotional book that special friends, the Stricklands, gave me recently, Jesus is Calling. "Approach this day with awareness of who is boss. As you make plans for the day, remember that it is I who orchestrate the events of your life...On days when your plans are thwarted, be on the lookout for me! I may be doing something important in your life, something quite different than what you expected...Don't try to figure out what is happening. Simply trust me and thank me in advance that will come out of it all. I now the plans that I have for you, and they are good."
